| DHM Auxiliary Offers Scholarships to Local Students |

MANTECA, Calif. – The Auxiliary of Doctors Hospital of Manteca is pleased to announce that scholarship application packets for the 2007/2008 academic year are ready and now available at the Front Desk in the Main Lobby of the hospital.
Among the requirements, applicants must be graduates of the high schools of the Manteca Unified or Ripon Unified School Districts. They must currently be second-year students or will be second-year students next year at the Community College or College/University level. Applicants must be pursuing studies and course work leading to a future career in the healthcare or medical profession.
Every year, the Auxiliary awards thousands of dollars to local students interested in an occupation in the healthcare field. These scholarships help to promote this valuable field in a time when there is a growing need for qualified healthcare professionals.
Applicants are reviewed on a variety of measures including, but not limited to: grade point average, volunteer history, honors, and leadership experience.
