DHM Welcomes New Board Members
MANTECA, Calif. –– Doctors Hospital of Manteca is pleased to introduce members of our 2006 Governing Board. The Governing Board is responsible for recommending and implementing hospital policy, promoting performance improvement, promoting quality patient care, providing for the organizational management and planning of the hospital, and for ensuring that the mission, vision, and values of the hospital are fulfilled.
The 2006 Governing Board is comprised of six community members and six members of the medical staff. The Governing Board acts in a consultative role and gives feedback regarding the needs of the community and how best the hospital can serve those needs within the scope of our mission.
“In addition to our duties that require us to promote quality care, continuous improvement and patient satisfaction, this Board will have the opportunity to help select a new Chief Executive Officer for our facility,” says DHM Governing Board Chairman, Howard Marks, M.D. “This year we hope to expand services and improve efficiencies, making it easier for our community to receive the health care that they deserve,” Dr. Marks continued.
Doctors Hospital of Manteca hospital spokesperson Carin Sarkis agrees, “The efforts of the DHM Governing Board are critical to the success of our facility.
