Facility receives recognition from American Association for Respiratory Care
MANTECA, Calif. – For Immediate Release
Doctors Hospital of Manteca is proud to announce that our facility has received Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). Respiratory therapists are specially trained professionals who work under physicians’ orders to provide breathing treatments and other services to people with respiratory diseases. “This recognition means that our respiratory therapists are recognized as competent, licensed professionals,” says Doug Lammey, C.R.T., Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at Doctors Hospital of Manteca. In keeping with AARC standards, the department is also overseen by a Medical Director, Anil Sain, M.D., who specializes in internal medicine.
Besides the comprehensive outpatient diagnosis and treatment the hospital provides for respiratory problems, respiratory therapists are available 24 hours a day for the needs of hospitalized and emergency room patients.
