DHM Welcomes New Board Members
MANTECA, Calif. –– Doctors Hospital of Manteca is pleased to introduce members of our 2005 Governing Board. The Governing Board is responsible for recommending and implementing hospital policy, promoting performance improvement, promoting the provision of quality patient care, providing for the organizational management and planning of the hospital, and for ensuring that the mission, vision, and values of the hospital are fulfilled.
The 2005 Governing Board is comprised of six community members and six members of the medical staff. The Governing Board acts in a consultative role and gives feedback regarding the needs of the community and how best the hospital can serve those needs within the scope of our mission.
“In addition to our duties that require us to promote quality care and continuous improvement, this Board will emphasize patient satisfaction. We plan to reach out to the community (by various means) and will respond to the feedback we get,” stated Governing Board Chairman, Howard C. Marks, M.D.
Doctors Hospital of Manteca Chief Executive Officer, Katherine A. Medeiros agreed, “The efforts of the DHM Governing Board are critical to the success of our facility. Their guidance, vision, and wisdom can directly impact patient care and community services. We are lucky to have such a dynamic group chose to take on these leadership roles.”
