Manteca residents recently bestowed the title of "Best of Manteca 2009" on Doctors Hospital of Manteca.  The award, presented during a April 2009 ceremony, is the third in a row won by the 73-bed hospital.  The hospital was one of three hospitals and clinics nominated in the 96 category contest.  The annual event, sponsored by the Manteca Convention and Visitors Bureau, featured online and paper balloting by residents of Manteca.  "This is not only a restatement of what we already knew, but it is also the result of a lot of dedicated caring by all of our team: Board members, physicians, employees, volunteers, and, of course, our management team", stated CEO Mark Lisa.  "I always tell people; we may be the little guys, but don't let that fool you - we are very capable".
