The Auxiliary of Doctors Hospital of Manteca is pleased to announce that scholarship
application packets for the 2011/2012 academic year are available January 26-March 11, 2011 at the
Front Desk in the Main Lobby of the hospital.

Among the requirements, applicants must be graduates of the high schools of the
Manteca Unified, Ripon Unified, or Escalon Unified School Districts.  Applicants must currently
be a second-year student or will be a second-year student next year at the Community College or College/University level.  Applicants must be pursuing studies and course work leading to a
future career in the healthcare or medical profession. 

Every year, the Auxiliary awards thousands of dollars to local students interested in an
occupation in the healthcare field.  These scholarships help to promote this valuable field in a time
when there is a growing need for qualified healthcare professionals. 

Applicants are reviewed on a variety of measures including, but not limited to: grade point
average, volunteer history, honors, and leadership experience.

Once again, applications are currently available at the front desk in the Main Lobby. 
To enter, applications must be returned to the Front Desk no later than March 11, 2011.
