We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies
such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.
We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as
well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and
guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.
Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.
The Doctors Hospital of Manteca Auxiliary is a group of men and women who provide direct service to patients. The goal of the program is both to help patients and staff and to provide each volunteer with a job that is stimulating and satisfying.
Volunteers are also an integral part of the hospital’s Community Outreach Team. On this team, volunteers and employees work together at health fairs, immunization clinics and other Doctors Hospital of Manteca-sponsored community events. Proceeds from the Auxiliary Gift Shop are used to sponsor a scholarship program.
Additionally, Auxiliary volunteers are on call in case of a local disaster.
The Auxiliary is coordinated through an elected slate of officers: President, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. Additional chairpersons are assigned for special events and activities, including the Scholarship Committee, Gift Shop and Membership Committee. The Auxiliary holds monthly meetings.
Become a Junior Volunteer
Doctors Hospital of Manteca offers a Junior Volunteer program for high school students between the ages of 14 and 19. Volunteer hours are between 4 and 8 p.m. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting at the Hospitality Desk, distributing clean linens and helping to deliver meal trays. The program also includes special meetings, award programs and other recognition events.
