Doctors Hospital of Manteca Names Beverly Fick Chief Nursing Officer

Beverly FickDoctors Hospital of Manteca has appointed Beverly Fick as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

Effective July 23, 2018, Fick will assume responsibility for all nursing and designated patient care functions within Doctors Hospital of Manteca. She will oversee and coordinate the nursing units and their daily operations. Fick joins DHM from sister hospital, Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where she previously served as Chief Nursing Officer.

“Beverly served as a champion for the patient experience while advocating for all patients to receive the safest care of the highest quality and an exceptional experience,” said Brandon May, CEO of Doctors Hospital of Manteca. “We are excited to have her join our executive team and continue to implement best practices here in Manteca.”

Prior to her role in Palm Springs, Fick served as CNO and Chief Operating Officer for Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree.

Before joining Tenet Healthcare, Fick served in leadership roles at San Mateo Medical Center, Seton Medical Center in Daly City, Kindred Hospital in San Leandro, and Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She also served as a clinical flight coordinator for Native American Air Ambulance in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and worked for the World Health Organization in the Peace Corps Liberia in West Africa where she established a mobile healthcare clinic.

Fick earned her B.S. in Nursing from Mankato State University in Minnesota and her master’s degree in administration with a minor in counseling from Webster’s University in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
