Doctors Hospital of Manteca Auxiliary Offering Scholarships

The Doctors Hospital of Manteca Auxiliary volunteers will soon be accepting applications for their annual scholarship program.

Profits from the volunteer-run hospital gift shop fund the scholarships – ranging from $750 to $2,500 – for college students who are pursuing careers in healthcare.

Applications for the next round of scholarships will be available starting on Feb. 17, 2020. They can be picked up at the front desk of the hospital located at 1205 E. North Street, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Applicants are required to reside within the boundaries of the Manteca Unified School District, which includes Lathrop, French Camp and Weston Ranch, or the Ripon Unified School District. They must also be registered in at least their second year of classes at an accredited community college or four-year college or university.

Applications will be reviewed on grade point averages, volunteer history, community involvement honor, leadership experience and financial need. The deadline for submissions is April 6, 2020.

The Doctors Hospital of Manteca Auxiliary has been providing scholarships since the opening of the facility in 1962.
