First California Physician Partners Joins Central Valley Doctors Health System’s Brand to Enhance Patient Coordination of Care Across the Central Valley

Central Valley, Calif. – Today marks the launch of First California Physician Partners’ new name as Central Valley Doctors Health System Physician Group to help form a single, identifiable name and brand that reflects the integration of the healthcare system across the Central Valley.

“Unifying our name as part of the Central Valley Doctors Health System brand not only highlights that our doctors are part of high-quality care here in the Central Valley, but it will help patients identify where to access seamless coordination of the specialty care we provide across all of our facilities, including award-winning hospitals,” said Jennifer Howard, CEO of Central Valley Doctors Health System Physician Group.

While the name is new, the doctors of Central Valley Doctors Health System Physician Group have been serving the needs of the region since the 1970s. Back then, it was known as McHenry Medical Group and later became part of First California Physician Partners (FCPP), a non-profit medical foundation committed to serving the health care needs of patients throughout California. Central Valley Doctors Health System Physician Group will continue to be a part of the foundation.

The Central Valley Doctors brand, launched in 2023, initially unified the name of Tenet Healthcare’s three Central Valley acute care hospitals: Doctors Medical Center, Emanuel Medical Center, and Doctors Hospital of Manteca.
