We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. Scheduling & Visitor Restrictions

We will be rescheduling some patient appointments and procedures in an effort to protect our patients and staff. Conserving personal protective equipment helps us prioritize the needs of those who may require immediate care. Adjustments to scheduled procedures and appointments will be made as requested by the physician, patient or as required by official local or national public health authorities. We will contact you directly if your appointment or procedure is postponed until a later date. During this time, all Doctors Hospital of Manteca facilities will remain open to care for patients who require in-person visits and time-sensitive care. Thank you for understanding our need to take these measures for the safety of all.

Visitor Restrictions

Current Visitor Policy 

Doctors Hospital of Manteca is committed to taking the necessary and critical steps to ensure that patients and staff in our hospital are safe and remain healthy. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following visitor restrictions and limitations have been implemented:

  • Per the declaration of the Health Officer of the County of San Joaquin, we are under a no visitors policy to ensure the safety of our patients and staff during this time.
  • As defined by the Health Officer, if you believe a visit is urgent from a health or legal standpoint, please let us know and we will review the situation with the guidelines provided by the Health Officer.
  • Visitors will not be allowed to wait in the lobby.
  • If you require additional information, please review the Order of the Health Officer.

For patients that wish to connect with loves ones, we offer the following suggestions: FaceTime, Skype or other video/telephonic devices.

These measures will be in effect until we are advised that it is safe to return to normal visiting practices. We are committed to keeping our patients, our staff and our community safe. We appreciate your support and understanding during this time.

If you feel you may have been exposed to COVID-19 and have symptoms such as fever or dry cough, please contact your primary care physician, the California Department of Public Health at (209) 468-3822 or San Joaquin Public Health Services at (209) 468-3411. As always, if you are having a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1 immediately.



Restrictions for Hospital Entry/Exit

Entry and exit is now limited to the main lobby and emergency room only.



An exception to any limited visitation policy at the hospital is patients with disabilities who require support from family members or staff in order for them to effectively communicate with medical personnel or otherwise receive equal access to medical treatment.
