Jay Krishnaswamy is the interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Doctors Hospital of Manteca as of January 2024 in addition to his role as CEO of Doctors Medical Center of Modesto. He has extensive experience in healthcare administration and has been with Tenet Health for more than 20 years. Jay came to Modesto from our Tenet home office in Dallas where he served as Vice President of Hospital Operations. Jay has also served as CEO of other Tenet hospitals across the country.

Jay has extensive experience with the Central Valley Doctors Health System that embodies both, Doctors Medical Center of Modesto, and Doctors Hospital of Manteca, having served as Associate Administrator at Doctors Medical Center from 2004 to 2008, as well as Chief Quality Officer from 2002 to 2004, before being appointed CEO in 2022.

Jay earned his Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University – Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, and his M.S. in Health Services Research from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
